Korm Plastics from 1984 to
1992. a history
I started Korm Plastics in 1984 by releasing cassettes. KP
3 was the first release. Within Staalplaat I re-released all
of the tapes on CDR. Some of these releases are updated with
bonus material — they are marked *. As I no longer work
for Staalplaat I have no longer access to masters and covers
of these CDR releases, so there is no point in asking or ordering
copies from me. This is all purely information based.
KP 1 Was never released as such,
although I regard my 'Nederlandse Cassette Catalogus' from december
1983 as my first release ever.

In 1987 I decided to re-structure the label, just do limited
releases and with a better package (combining xerox and printwork
with handmade items). In 1989 I released the first vinyl - a
7" by Kapotte Muziek. In 1992 I released the first CD on
Korm Plastics. It was released in the very first week I started
to work for Staalplaat.
